The suspects purportedly took 450 packs of cigarettes, $400 from the register and the owner’s credit cards and wallet.
During the incident, which occurred at approximately 10 p.m., there was at least one customer and three workers inside.
Anyone who has information on this incident has been asked to call 911 and get in contact with Cobb County Police.
As of February 8, it is still not clear how much the armed robber walked away with or whether anyone was injured in the robbery.
According to sources, the incident, which took place in Hapeville, involved a 62-year-old man named Stewart Walton and his wife, Lydia.
Back in March, a female named Allison Parker told news station WSB-TV that the robber came out from out of the shadows in her condominium complex’s garage with a brick in one hand.
Although no words can even begin to describe the horror that the victims went through, this event does highlight the importance of doing everything possible to increase safety in places where large numbers of people are congregated.
