Make Sure You Know How to Disarm Your DSC PC2550 Alarm
Every alarm system owner knows that one of the most important aspects of any residential burglar alarm is knowing how to disarm it. Luckily, with the DSC PC2550, doing so is easy and can be accomplished in a matter of seconds.
Here’s how:
Walk in through the door of your Atlanta home designated by the installation technician as the entry and exit door. You’ll notice that the keypad sounder should still be “On.” Enter your access code on your key pad, which should be four digits. In the event you make a mistake when inputting these numbers, all you have to do is press the [#] and re-enter it.
The “Armed” light will turn off and the keypad sounder will stop. Keep in mind that the proper access code must be pressed before the entry time expires. If you have a problem with the allowed time that your technician has chosen, then you can contact your alarm company and have it changed.
If you’ve arrived back at your house and your alarm was activated while the panel was armed, the “Memory” button will continue to flash on and off for two minutes. At the end of this period, the light will turn off and you can resume disarming your system.
