Two Killed in House Fire Near Augusta, Georgia

A fire broke out at a home in the town of Keysville, Burke County, Georgia, on Sunday, May 5. The fire left the home severely damaged and killed both the owner, Eddie James Waltower, and his wife Sarah.
According to CBS Atlanta, a local affiliate, the fire started around 8:30 p.m.
The source spoke with Ralph Hudgens, Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner, who said “the initial investigation revealed that the fire originated on the rear porch of the residence near a freezer.”
“We have not found anything suspicious about this tragic fire,” said Hudgens.
