Supermarket Robber Reportedly Flashed Manager His Gun
Cobb County, Georgia, law enforcement officials are still searching for a man that reportedly entered a Kroger grocery store on Monday, February 4 and demanded money. According to local online sources like MyFoxAtlanta and The Marietta Daily Journal, the suspect walked into the retail chain in Smyrna located at 4715 Atlanta Road around 9:30 p.m and showed the manager that he was armed with a handgun.
”The perpetrator fled the area in an unknown direction after receiving an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the business,” reads the press release published by Atlanta police.
As of February 8, it is still not clear how much the armed robber walked away with or whether anyone was injured in the robbery. However, authorities have released a physical description of the suspect. They say that he is a black male of “medium complexion”, around 40 years old and bald. During the incident, he was reportedly wearing dark and loose-fitting jeans and a tan hooded jacket.
