Police Searching for Suspects in Marietta, Georgia, Pawn Shop Burglary

Police are searching for four suspects who broke into a pawn shop in Marietta, Georgia, on May 24. Because the owner of the store had a video security system installed, investigators have an advantage in trying to find the burglars.

MyFoxAtlanta, a local affiliate, reports that the suspects, one of whom was armed with a semi-automatic pistol, used a hammer to break the front glass door. However, once inside, the group discovered that the owner had locked up the merchandise for safekeeping and that there was nothing on display to steal.

Three of the men were wearing hoodies and had their faces covered but a fourth did not. A description of the fourth suspect was not provided at the time of reporting. The suspects fled in a large, light-colored pickup truck, heading north on Cobb Parkway. Detectives are urging anyone with information to call police at (770) 794-6990.
