Understanding Zone Bypassing is Easy if you Follow These Tips
One of the many great things about your DSC PC2550 residential burglar alarm is that it has a zone bypass function. This can be activated when you need access to a part of your Atlanta home that has been armed. Using zone bypassing is particularly useful when you don’t want to turn off your alarm in all areas of your house. After all, it’s best to leave at least one section of your residence armed at all times, even when you are inside.
Your DSC PC2550 describes a way to bypass zones that is easy to understand, even if don’t have a technology background. All you have to do is:
1) Press [*][1][access code] followed by the zone numbers that you would like to activate. For example, zone 1 is [1], zone 2 is [2] and so forth.
2) Keep in mind that if you happen to hit [0] when inputting zone numbers, all zone bypasses will be deleted.
3) In the event you press [9], the last group of zones that you requested to have bypassed will be erased.
4) Hit [#] to return to Ready.
Remember that in certain instances, you installation technician may have removed the zone bypass feature from certain parts of your home as a security measure.
